The Eastern Nile Basin Research Universities and Centers (ENRUC) network is pleased to announce the organisation of a new webinar episode on the 12 December 2025 at 10:00 am CET on Zoom. This is a joint presentation by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the University of Augsburg, the University of Potsdam and adelphi.
Content
The webinar will explore statistical and AI-based methods to enhance ECMWF SEAS5 seasonal forecasts for the region as well as hydrological and sediment-load modelling for the Blue Nile and its application to dam management. It will also cover crop yield modelling to support food security planning and pathways for effective forecast dissemination.
