Just in time for World Water Day on March 22, 2021, the BMBF has launched the Innovation Atlas Water. The Innovation Atlas provides an overview of products and results from five BMBF funding measures on the topic of water, including a large number of products from the GRoW projects. The Innovation Atlas allows users to systematically search for innovative products.

The Innovation Atlas is freely accessible online and includes technologies and methods as well as other product types such as management concepts, software tools and educational materials for sustainable water resource management. Users can filter the products by the type of water resource - e.g. groundwater, wastewater, drinking water - the product type or different sectors of, e.g. industry, agriculture or water management.

The GRoW funding measure contributed 27 products from 10 projects at the launch of the Atlas, which can be found here. The Innovation Atlas is constantly updated with new and relevant products added by current funding measures. In the coming months, additional products of GRoW projects will be included. To improve the reach and accessibility of the Atlas, an English translation is planned.

The Innovation Atlas is mentioned, among others, in Minister Karliczek's (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) press release about the launch of the new research programme "Water: N - Research and Innovation for Sustainability".
